Lunch & Learn Series

A simple and powerful way to build up knowledge and common understanding within an organization is to host a series of informal learning sessions. Whether the topic is directly related to the task at hand for software development or to discuss more strategic topics, the value of fostering communication with everyone in the same room is tremendous.

Clarrus has built up an extensive list of topics that are key to software development success and can be used as effective Lunch & Learn sessions that bring everyone together. These sessions are highly interactive, with the introduction of best-practices tied closely to a discussion of current practices and how to bridge that gap between them in your organization.

This series gives you the opportunity to provide cost-effective training to your entire group in a relaxed setting that does not pull people away from their desks for days at a time.

Each session is roughly an hour in duration, with ample time for discussion and debate among the group. We will work with you to find a time that makes sense for your group.

Distinctions

This package has several key distinctions when compared to typical approaches:

• Unlike training courses, a Lunch & Learn series allows you to provide rich nuggets of best-practices in an environment that supports discussion of how to apply this information into your organization. Training courses are difficult to schedule, and expensive to administer for the entire group.
• Rather than leaving your group to educate themselves in a haphazard manner, this is a relaxed way to gain a common understanding within your group. You don't leave learning to chance and there is not an enormous time investment.
