This service provides an inexpensive, quick and objective analysis of your project team. It can be used as input to a project retrospective, initial insight towards an improvement initiative, or simply to provide another set of data points to help you manage your team effectively. Insightful, objective feedback provides information for immediate use, and the entire team is engaged throughout the process.

We can run this as a web-based or live face to face event for your entire team, and provide critical insights to the group to help you better understand how you are actually performing.

You will get feedback on data correlation, team demographics, capabilities vs. performance and pains, key risks the team faces and magnitudes of costs, and recommended next steps for improvement.

“Our first experience with the Clarrus Diagnostic, 18 months ago, indicated that we had challenges with change management. Subsequent work in this area has resolved many of our problems. Recently we re-ran the Diagnostic, and not only did we identify a new area to focus on for improvement, but the data clearly showed that change management was no longer an issue, and our overall performance had improved significantly compared to the original results.

The Clarrus Diagnostic has consistently provided an accurate assessment of organizational issues, and it is a valuable tool for prioritizing our process improvement initiatives.”
– Daniel Miller, VP Research and Development, Agile IT

The critical difference between this and the usual assessment suspects is that this Diagnostic guides your team to the discovery of which challenges are most critical, and your team decides on the best path forward. Greater insights, a wider range of potential solutions, and most importantly, ownership of the solution.

Warning: In some organizations, this Diagnostic has exposed latent difficulties with open dialogue and collaborative problem solving. Please contact us in advance if there may be a concern about these issues, we can discuss alternative approaches for the group.

In all cases, personal contact information remains confidential and will not be used for other purposes. All feedback is provided in aggregated form and is completely anonymous, providing a higher likelihood of frank, honest responses and open dialogue.

The diagnostic is extremely flexible: you can opt to explicitly compare different groups within your team against one another, or periodically check progress of your group over time.

Please contact us to arrange a time for us to help you pinpoint your latent opportunities.

We have expanded the successful deployment of the Performance Diagnostic into two specific domains – Software Requirements and Estimation. These complementary diagnostic products can be used as a precursor to training, or on their own to give you the insight to make the right decisions.

  • What People are Saying

Jim is extremely knowledgeable, and just as important, he is very interested in sharing that knowledge with his audience and working with his clients to ensure they are successful. He was very ‘hands-on’ prior to the training, during, and followed up with us afterwards. It was important to us that we partnered with someone who really took an interest in providing that value.
